NAOKA is an awakening studio devoted to radical vulnerability, creative self-mastery, and helping you unlearn the programming that taught you to hide who you are. It’s a home for the parts of you that are tired of performing.

A place to remember your voice, your power, and your softness — all at once.

Meet Asa Yee

I was born and raised in Queens as a first-generation Bangladeshi, surrounded by a rich blend of cultures, languages, and traditions.

Growing up in a community where resilience and creativity were woven into everyday life shaped how I see the world — and how I hold space for others.

I’m a vulnerability coach, meditation teacher, Editorial Director at Ethique Beauty, and host of Monsoon Season, a podcast exploring what it means to be radically vulnerable.

Whether you’re an artist, a seeker, or simply someone in search of your own voice again — I’m here to remind you:

You are the portal.

For a long time, I thought if I just perfected everything — my body, my career, my relationships — I’d finally feel free.
But the more I chased perfection, the more disconnected and exhausted I became.

Healing didn’t come from getting it "right."
It came from getting vulnerable.

Through vulnerability, I found my way back to my voice.
Through meditation, I found my way back to my heart.
Through creativity, I found my way back to my power.

Now, my work is about helping you do the same.

Whether it's through 1:1 coaching, community spaces like Monsoon Monthly, or the letters and conversations shared inside Monsoon Season — every offering from NAOKA is an invitation to come home to yourself.

  • My teaching style is raw, real, and deeply human—grounded in tradition yet refreshingly modern. I honor ancient wisdom while making meditation feel personal, relatable, and accessible. Through storytelling, breath, and stillness, I create a space where you can show up as you are. Expect an experience that is both structured and intuitive, where self-exploration meets deep presence.

  • For most meditation sessions, all you need is a quiet space, a comfortable seat (cushion, chair, or floor), and an open mind. If a class requires anything additional, such as a journal or specific props, you’ll receive details beforehand.

  • I teach all levels—from beginners looking to start their practice to experienced meditators deepening their journey. Whether you are just learning how to sit in stillness or refining your awareness, there’s space for you here.

  • Yes! I offer personalized one-on-one meditation coaching tailored to your needs, whether you're seeking guidance on deepening your practice, navigating life transitions, or cultivating a stronger connection to self.

  • Not at all! All sessions are designed to be inclusive and adaptable, no matter where you are in your meditation journey.

  • Absolutely. A busy mind is part of the process. Meditation isn’t about stopping thoughts—it’s about learning how to relate to them with awareness and ease.
